Our History

In 2003, we entered the real estate sector in Akatlar under the name Platin Gayrimenkul, a partnership between Haluk Erol, Emre Erol, Engin Erol, and Gülden Erol. During this period, we operated under another franchise brand and, with a strong team of consultants, quickly earned numerous national awards in the sector. With the business models we introduced to the sector, our personal development-focused initiatives, and our innovative approach to education, we laid the foundations for many of the standards we maintain today. In 2011, company management was transferred from Haluk Erol to Engin Erol. Due to differences in training, business models, and vision, we parted ways with the franchise and continued our independent journey under the Platin Gayrimenkul brand. In 2013, Emre Erol founded KW Turkey and assumed the role of country director. Haluk Erol then took over as the company's education and culture director. In 2014, Platin, with a team of 20 people, moved into a 200 m² villa office in Akatlar, becoming KW's second franchise office in Turkey. The same year, our family business was further strengthened with the partnership of Emin Maltepe. By the end of 2018, we became the first real estate agency in Turkey to reach 100 consultants. In 2019, the KW Karma Office was established in İstinye under the leadership of Aykut Şen, and KW Platin moved to its current office that same year. In 2022, KW Platin and KW Karma merged, expanding our partnership. As the first concrete step of this merger, our Zekeriyaköy office was opened. By the end of 2024, KW Platin & Karma had become the largest real estate consultancy organization in Turkey and Europe in terms of transaction volume and turnover, with 542 real estate consultants.
